The second iteration of the La Sportiva Prodigio is fine-tuned to handle nearly any type of run you throw at it. From tough hikes on technical terrain to fast-paced race days, this do-it-all workhorse trail shoe is the perfect companion for athletes who like to take their adventures off-road.

It’s crucial that you feel safe, secure, and confident with every step when you’re racing through rugged terrain, and the Prodigio 2 guarantees this security with a FriXion Red bi-compound outsole with 4mm LaSpo lugs. This dual rubber compound provides exceptional grip and traction on slippery terrain. The outsole is also paired with high-grip forefoot and heel rubber to maximize traction and safety as you take on wet or slippery trails.

Of course, while grip is pivotal in a trail shoe, you don’t want to sacrifice all-around comfort and protection. The Prodigio 2 ensures you’re comfortable every step of the way with a nitrogen-infused XFlow EVA midsole foam. This midsole cushioning, along with the XFlow footbed, provides reliable impact absorption and energy return to keep you protected no matter where your exploration takes you. This midsole is also fine-tuned with a rocker geometry to propel you forward with every step.

Last but not least, the high-tenacity mesh upper is designed to securely wrap your foot, while the extra padding and breathable design keep you feeling supported and comfortable from training runs to race day.
