The GlideRide Max may be a relatively new running shoe in Asics’ lineup, but the versatile design and remarkably soft and balanced underfoot feel have quickly earned it a positive reputation among runners and walkers. The second iteration takes this comfort to the next level, pairing a new engineered woven upper with the soft midsole we’ve all come to love.

Like the previous version of the shoe, the GlideRide Max 2 uses a combination of foams to create a comfortable, cloud-like running experience. The top layer is made from the ultra-soft and bouncy FF BLAST MAX cushioning, while the bottom layer is made with the light and responsive FF BLAST PLUS foam. This dual-layer midsole, combined with a hard press EVA plate, delivers unmatched energy return and comfort with every stride.

The EVA plate and bouncy foam aren’t the only features designed to keep you moving forward. The GlideRide Max 2 also features GUIDESOLE technology, a curved construction that reduces impact and efficiently guides you through every stride. Finally, the hybrid ASICSGRIP outsole makes this shoe even more versatile, improving traction on any terrain and enhancing durability and longevity.
