This daily trainer offers plenty of lightweight and soft EGO Max cushioning underfoot, with a redesigned mesh upper for even more breathability and comfort.

And if you’ve loved previous versions of the Paradigm 8, you’re in luck. Outside of small tweaks to the foam and and updated upper, the Paradigm maintains the majority of what drew people to the shoe in the first place. The 30 mm/30 mm stack height offers a balanced, moderate cushion feel, while the unique GuideRail technology provides some gentle structure and support for runners who overpronate.

Of course, it wouldn’t be an Altra running shoe without a natural design and wide, foot-shaped toe box. The Paradigm 8 maintains its zero-drop platform to promote natural strides throughout each run. The anatomical FootShape toe box ties the shoe together, offering an accommodating fit with plenty of room for toes to splay out.
