The top layer is now made of Asics’ premium performance foam, FF Leap, for maximum softness and bounciness directly underfoot. Underneath the FF Leap foam, a layer of lightweight FF Blast Plus foam adds durability and responsiveness, creating fun and lively landings that can carry you from speed workouts to race day.

Along with the addition of the FF Leap superfoam, the Superblast 3 also incorporates a trampoline-inspired sole design for even more bounce and energy return. Underneath this trampoline pod, the ASICSGRIP rubber outsole adds one more layer of softness while improving grip and reducing early wear.

Last but not least, the Superblast 3 took steps to ensure comfort throughout every aspect of the shoe, including the upper. The engineered woven upper is remarkably light and breathable, while the gussetted tongue keeps everything locked in place as you pick up the pace.
